About Pink
Pink was set up in April 2007, after speaking to the clients at our hair replacement centre Advanced Appearance.
Our existing clients wanted a dedicated centre that specialised solely in providing alternative, temporary solutions to hair loss, that were comfortable but above all, natural.
We listened, and Pink is the result: a unique salon offering specialist advice for those suffering with temporary hair loss through chemotherapy, or more long term problems such as alopecia, trichotillomania or even general hair thinning caused by ageing.
Linda Allan - Director
With 15 years experience in hair replacement, Linda is the main stylist for Pink, she deals with all the fitting of the wigs ensuring that the colour and style of the wig are exactly what the client requests.
Linda will also discuss how to look after your own hair once it begins to grow back and at what stage you can start to colour it.
Anne Canning - Director
Anne deals with the initial consultations giving advice on the
different types of wigs available and what colour and styles are suitable
for you. Organises
all the charity events and promotions for the salon.
Gill Martin - Manager
Your first point of contact, Gill deals with the day to day running of the salon, from booking appointments to ordering stock, she is also involved in the consultations and the fitting process.
Gill is always available to
give
advice on the end of the telephone if you are unable to come into the
shop.
Peter Howarth - Director
Peter Howarth is mainly based at our sister company Advanced Appearance, however Peter is always available for Pink should any male clients prefer to speak to a man regarding their hair loss problems and has over 15 years experience in hair
